Lead Development and Sales Manager CH & EMEA (m/f)


 

 

Chain IQ is an independent global service company providing strategic, tactical and operational procurement for its clients. As an international company it offers comprehensive end-to-end procurement solutions for national and international companies. Chain IQ operates from main centers – Zurich (headquarters), New York, London, Singapore, Mumbai and Bucharest – and is currently servicing 20 countries (including China, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia).


This role supports Chain IQ’s growth in Europe by closely working together with the Head Sales EMEA & Global Sales Competence Center in interacting with new clients within Europe, from development of new leads, through the entire lead- and sales phase through to contract closure. You will drive an efficient and effective lead development sales process by collaborating with internal subject matter experts such as Category Managers, legal and pricing team to design and tailor competitive offerings for specific customer niches.
You have the ability to effectively network, cultivate relationships to sell Sourcing- and Procurement related offerings.
A string background and demonstrated experience in business- and lead development as well as sales in a Services/ B2B environment, is required for this role as

Your main responsibilities:

-Seek out and source new clients by developing new- or eploying existing  networks
-Prepare for and lead initial prospect conversations
-Work closely with the Chain IQ Sales Team to promote Chain IQ´s offerings to build a strong and solid sales pipeline as well as to generate new revenues
-Work towards the sales revenue targets                                    
-Enhance the global sales process to ensure an effective and efficient customer interaction
-Support the sales organization in preparing sales documents and client proposals
-Support internal service offer preparation                                    
-Support the development of marketing materials, customer presentations and other sales related materials
-Deliver quarterly / annual turnover forecast for all developed leads
-Pick up related tasks of managing and maintaining the quality of the sales pipeline (SalesForce)

 

Your profile:

-Over 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in generation of proposals and product definition
-Over 5 years of experience in the area of supply management and /or supply management consulting
-University degree  - bachelor or higher
-Strong analytical and presentation skills
-Hands-on, pragmatic and entrepreneurial attitude
-Team player, strong service-orientation and used to work under time pressure
-Procurement industry understanding and expertise
-Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English
-Collaborative nature and ability to handle multiple work streams at once
-Profound knowledge of Microsoft products, mainly PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
