Service Delivery Manager - Engagements / Project Management (80-100%)



Chain IQ is an independent global service company providing strategic, tactical and operational procurement for its clients. As an international company it offers comprehensive end-to-end procurement solutions for national and international companies. Chain IQ operates from main centers – Zurich (headquarters), New York, London, Singapore, Mumbai and Bucharest – and is currently servicing 20 countries (including China, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia).

As part of the Service Delivery team, the Service Delivery Manager supports Chain IQ's EMEA client engagements in all project management related tasks.
While monitoring all engagements you will be managing risk and communication as required together with the Head of Service Delivery.
To this end, we are looking for an expert project manager with client engagement experience and the ability to work proactively in a matrix organization across different disciplines in the role as

Your main responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities encompass projects planning and coordination to ensure deliverables to clients are met and wherever possible exceeded. Your main responsibilities are:
- Project Management
- Engagement project planning, coordination and overall progress monitoring across all active engagements including performance and profitability (internal)
- Contribute to setting-up project charters including governance and being its gate keepers
- Support client project progress updates and project reviews as required at Steering Committee, Core Project team level as well as internally
- Prepare and conduct steering committee /core project teams reviews including presentations
- Develop, maintain and keep associated client documentation while maintaining proper filing and track-record (audit trail)
- Support risk and communication management at project level
- Manage data and information collections, consolidation and analysis


Your profile:

- Supply Chain Management / Procurement and Project Management experience; process optimization skills are a plus.
- The ability to apply analytical and creative approaches to overcome project challenges when they arise.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills with excellent communication qualities, engaging with our customers in a professional manner
- Procurement: Source to Contract, Procure to Pay
- Broad understanding of supply chain management
- Proficient use of project planning  and presentation tools
- Highly skilled in analytics, controlling and reporting
- Source-to-Pay Process management and Optimization
- Experience in working with Spend data and data analytics
- Ability to work in cross functional environment  and proactive stakeholder management (external & internal)
- Client facing and relationship management
- Experience with large, multinational organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English & German both fluent)
- Organizational skills / structured and proactive individual
- Readiness to travel

- Bachelor or Master Degree in International Business, Business Administration
- Project Management (i.e. PMI, Prince2)
- 3-5 years of experience in international project management
