Chain IQ is an independent global service company providing strategic, tactical and operational procurement for its clients. As an international company it offers comprehensive end-to-end procurement solutions for national and international companies. Chain IQ operates from main centers – Zurich (headquarters), New York, London, Singapore, Mumbai and Bucharest – and is currently servicing 20 countries (including China, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia).


You support Chain IQ’s growth in Europe by closely working together with the regional CEOs in interacting with new clients within Europe, from the lead phase through to contract closure. Together with your team, you drive an efficient and effective sales process by collaborating with internal subject matter experts such as Category Managers, legal and pricing team to design and tailor competitive offerings for specific customer niches. You are also responsible for ensuring a timely handover of new service contracts after contract signature to the Chain IQ delivery organization
In addition to supporting regional Head's in their growth activities, you are responsible for defining and maintaining Chain IQ’s global productized service offering and standard sales process, and for ensuring a consistent application of agreed standards across all geographies.
You manage a team of dedicated sales and sales support managers in Switzerland. In addition, you functionally lead the global sales and sales support teams in New York, London, Singapore and Zurich in your position as

Your main responsibilities:

Support regional Head's in enlarging Chain IQ’s client base across various industry sectors as well as in building a solid client portfolio in the consumer goods and industrial sector within Europe
Seek out and source new clients by deploying own- or building new networks
Prepare for- and lead initial client conversations, promoting Chain IQ´s service offering
Drive the sales process from lead client generation to contract closure by crafting penetrative and differentiating strategies
Manage internal service offer preparation and lead service offering presentation and negotiation meetings in close coordination with the regional Head's
Develop marketing materials, customer presentations and other sales related materials
Manage new service offering/product development processes
Enhance the global sales process to ensure an effective and efficient customer interaction
Deliver turnover forecast for all European leads for current year’s quarters and the next full year
Direct line management responsibility for the European sales and sales support team
Global functional sales responsibility to drive Chain IQ’s standard sales offering/processes

 

Your profile:

Over 10 years of international sales experience with a solid track record of revenue creation
Over 5 years of consulting experience in the area of supply chain management
Several years of international project acquisition and execution experience
Proven track record of building and maintaining an effective and efficient sales process and of functionally leading an international sales team
Hands-on, pragmatic and entrepreneurial attitude
Ability to build and sell service products
Deep procurement industry understanding and expertise
Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English
Collaborative nature and ability to handle multiple workstreams at once
Sound knowledge of Microsoft products, mainly PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
